Del'Rasaa Bistro " We cant bring you to Jamaica but we can bring Jamaica to you!!"
What probably will catch your eye as you drive by is the big colourful poster of a mix of
multicoloured platters with the rattan blinds as its backdrop… That’s the first impression of what
potential customers will see…The rustic but simple look that this café has…
Located on 243 Lavender Street, Del’Rasaa Bistro, has the concept of laid back, rest and relax.
Newly established by a Muslim family, Del’Rasaa Bistro, with its quiet ambience serves as a
fantastic area to relax or chill out with family, friends or even for a romantic dinner with that
special someone.
With a name that has a ring of Malay in it… Del’Rasaa Bistro strives to cater to the Muslim
community in particular because there may be other food outlets and serves Caribbean foods but
it might not be suitable for us Muslims. Do not be mistaken with the name, Del’Rasaa Bistro,
because even if it’s a bistro, there is no alcohol served on the premises.
Our signature dishes are, of course, Jerk Chicken, Jerk Beef Kabobs and Jerk Fish. The Buss-Up
Sandwich and the Jamaican Poulet are created to cater to our Asian tastebuds. All dishes uses
ingredients that are airflown all the way from the Caribbeans. All of which are marinated and
grilled to perfection… Its smokey, tangy and spicy flavour coupled with the spicy-sweet mango
chutney, will leave a slight tingling on your palate.
Fusion is word…Apart from the Jamaican specialities, quality choices of local and western
dishes will delight you. Ranging from the popular Fish & Chips to our own creation of Balsamic
Steaks and Bistro Chicken Steak, as well as local favourites such as Nasi Lemak or Nasi Biryani
Special with its generous helping of condiments.
Del’Rasaa Bistro also does catering for functions for up to 150pax. The café also has function
rooms for those who wish to book them for private parties. Internet connections is also available
upon request.
