Show me on mapChai Chee Noodle Village has set up various branches around the island. This stall in Parkway Parade seems to have kept up its standard. You would have expected good bak chor mee noodles to come mostly from the seasoned hands of a middle-aged or even ah pek, but this stall was manned by a young chap barely out of his 20s who was cool and steady despite the longish queue even at 230pm on a weekday. Quite impressive !

Meng Kitchen is nestled among a row of shophouse units at Upper Thomson Road near Sin Ming Road.
One of the better bak chor mee around. The taste is similar to the noodles I've tasted from a noodle stall at the Thomson Plaza foodcourt.
Try the meat dumpling soup dish as well ! It comes with a black mass of dried seaweed.
